Amel Hachem
Lecturer-researcher with the grade of lecturer A in population science at the Faculty of Social Sciences,
Université Oran 2 Mohamed Ben Ahmed, since 2003. Demographer by basic training, her research axes revolve around reproductive health with all its components, women, family, young people, migration.
Amel believes that the reproductive health of women and young people should be the first priority of health actors and society. She had the opportunity to participate in several national and international research projects on migration, reproductive health, community care, parental burnout, care seeking among people living with HIV/AIDS, single mothers, medically assisted procreation and the use of obstetric care among women of childbearing age, which resulted in publications in national and international journals. She has a good command of survey processing and analysis software (SPSS, EPI INFO, etc.).
